ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Caroline McConnell has been named Missouri Valley Conference Women's Golfer of the Week for the second time this season after placing tied for third at the Badger Invitational over Sept. 14-16, per a release by the Valley on Friday.
McConnell recorded her second third-place finish of the 2025-26 campaign in Madison, Wis., to lead all Braves. McConnell began the tournament strong, firing a career-low 68 in round one. She followed with a second-round score of 69 and a third-round score of 72. McConnell's 54-hole total (209) surpasses her prior career low (215, set two weeks ago) and is the second-best individual tournament score in program history. Bradley finished in fourth place as a team with a score of 875, its second-lowest ever.
McConnell has earned MVC Golfer of the Week honors two times prior to this selection, doing so on Sept. 5, 2024 and Sept. 4, 2025. She becomes the sixth golfer in program history to win three MVC Golfer of the Week awards in their career.
