Tennis Splits Weekend Matches in Missouri

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Bradley Tennis split its two matches in Springfield, Mo., defeating Missouri State on Friday night before falling to South Dakota on Saturday afternoon in its first road trip of the season.

BRADLEY vs MISSOURI STATE
The Braves got their first dual win of 2026 on Friday, Jan. 30, defeating the Bears, 4-3. The victory is Bradley's first under Interim Head Coach Kathleen Temple.

The match opened with a 6-2 victory on doubles court two by Ann Hsieh and Mariia Pukhina. The Braves earned the doubles point after Compassion Tsai and Ruby Tseng notched a 6-3 victory on court #3.

Bradley quickly earned two singles points after commanding straight-set victories by Tseng and Anna Belogliadova on courts four and three, respectively. After Missouri State earned wins on courts two and six, Ann Hsieh wrapped up the Braves' first win of the season with a three-set win on court five.

BRADLEY vs SOUTH DAKOTA
Bradley closed the weekend with a narrow loss to South Dakota, falling to the Coyotes, 4-3.

South Dakota secured the doubles points with victories on courts one and three. In singles play, Valeriia Ivanovskaia earned a victory on court one, while Ruby Tseng moved to a perfect 3-0 in dual action with a three-set victory. The newest addition to the Bradley roster, Amber Sharp, picked up her first collegiate tennis victory, winning in two sets on court six.
