YPSILANTI, Mich. – Bradley Tennis wrapped up its brief road trip with a trip to east Michigan, going 1-1 in the late-week matches.
BRADLEY vs OAKLAND
The Braves earned a 4-2 victory against the Oakland Golden Grizzlies on Thursday, Feb. 19.
Bradley secured the doubles point after victories on courts two and three from
Mariia Pukhina/
Ruby Tseng and
Anna Belogliadova/
Compassion Tsai. Pukhina and Tseng won their match, 6-2, while Belogliadova and Tsai knocked off their opponents in a tiebreak.
After Oakland tied the dual match with a singles win on court four, Bradley secured its first two singles point after
Ruby Tseng won via an opponent retirement on court two and
Mariia Pukhina earned a straight-set victory on court three.
Valeriia Ivanovskaia secured the decisive fourth point for the Braves, winning 6-2, 3-6, 10-5 with a third-set super tiebreaker.

Bradley wrapped up the trip with a 4-3 loss to Eastern Michigan on Friday, Feb. 20. The match marks the sixth time out of eight matches this season that the overall score has finished 4-3.
Doubles victories on courts two and three allowed the Braves to win the doubles point against the Eagles.

Compassion Tsai earned a 6-3 win.

Mariia Pukhina earned their second singles victories in as many days, with Tseng winning 6-4, 7-6 (4) on court two and Pukhina winning 6-2, 6-4 on court three. Eastern Michigan victories on courts one, four, five and six allowed the Eagles to secure the 4-3 victory.
