Game Recap: Baseball |

UNLV 20, Bradley 9

Las Vegas, NV. – Bradley showed offensive life in the middle innings, but an explosive start by UNLV proved too much to overcome in a 20-9 final Sunday afternoon at Earl E. Wilson Stadium.

The Rebels jumped on the Braves immediately in the opening frame, scoring five runs in the bottom of the first to seize early momentum. UNLV continued its surge in the second inning, plating six more runs to extend the advantage before Bradley could settle in.

Bradley answered in the third inning to get on the board. A.J. Garcia delivered a two-out RBI, helping the Braves cut into the deficit and spark the offense.

The Braves produced their biggest push in the fourth inning. Bradley scored four runs in the frame, capitalizing on walks and timely hits to trim the margin and show signs of life offensively. The Braves added another run in the seventh before rallying again in the eighth with three more runs to reach nine total on the afternoon.

UNLV continued to apply pressure offensively throughout the game. The Rebels added three runs in the fifth and two more in the sixth before scoring twice in both the seventh and eighth innings to maintain control of the contest.

Bradley finished the game with six hits while drawing 10 walks and working multiple scoring opportunities throughout the afternoon. Landon Lowe led the Braves at the plate with a 3-for-4 performance and two RBIs. A.J. Garcia recorded a hit and drove in two runs while also swiping three bases, and Michael Quick added an RBI as part of Bradley's offensive effort.
