AMES, Iowa -- Bradley Track & Field competed at the Iowa State Classic on Fri, Feb. 6, with five freshmen setting new personal bests.
The 800m saw four of the five new personal bests from freshmen.
Bente van Milligen and
Hanri Pretorius finished their races close to each other, as Van Milligen clocked a time of 2:11.40, while Pretorius ran 2:11.95.
Christian Harris and
Michael Schmalz finished similarly in the men's race, as Harris ran 1:53.07 and Schmalz clocked 1:53.24.
Ayva Rush set a new personal best in the 400m race, running 59.53.
Elsewhere, Julia de Palma ran a time of 25.34 in the 200m race, good for the sixth-fastest 200m time in program history.
Hope Rajlich ran a personal-best 26.61 in the same event.
One week after setting a new 60m program record,
Olivia Redpath maintained her strong form and ran a 7.79 in the 60m Final.
Isaac Lind set a new PB in the men's mile, running 4:17.33.

The Braves will compete at a pair of meets on Valentine's Day weekend, running in the David Hemery Valentine Invitational in Boston and the Blue Demon Alumni Classic in Chicago.
