PEORIA, Ill. -- It's time to vote for the Prairie Farms Bradley Athlete of the Month! Now that the calendar has flipped to February, it's time to look back at January and vote for which Brave had the best month of action.

Graduate student Tamia Perryman of the women's basketball team, sophomore Ellie McDermid of the women's basketball team, freshman Sawyer LeBlanc of the track & field and sophomore Travis Gaffney of the track & field team are the nominees for Prairie Farms Bradley Athlete of the Month in January.
 
Voting opens today at 3:00 p.m., will be open for 48 hours and will be conducted through the @BradleyBraves X account.
 
Tamia Perryman • Gr. • Women's Basketball • Indianapolis, Indiana
• Appeared and started in all nine games for Bradley during January.
• Scored a Bradley-career-high 20 points with five made three-pointers against Indiana State on Jan. 11.
• Scored in double-digits in six games, including four consecutive from Jan. 8 through Jan. 18.
• Averaged 10.6 points per game while shooting 40 percent from three-point range.

Ellie McDermid • So. • Women's Basketball • Green Bay, Wisconsin
• Appeared in all nine games for Bradley during January, starting five.
• Tallied a 14-point, 10-rebound double-double against Drake on Jan. 16.
• Grabbed a season-best 13 rebounds against Northern Iowa on Jan. 18.
• Tallied at least one block in five of nine contests during the month.
 
Sawyer LeBlanc • Fr. • Track & Field • St. John's, Newfoundland
• Competed in two meets during the month -- the Larry Wieczorek Invitationall and John Thomas Terrier Classic.
• Won the Mile event at the Larry Wieczorek Invitational on Jan. 23-24, running the ninth-fastest time in program history at 4:05.92.
• Set the fifth-fastest 3000m time in program history at 8:03.02 in the John Thomas Terrier Classic.

Travis Gaffney • So. • Track & Field • Brockville, Ontario
• Competed in two meets during the month -- the Larry Wieczorek Invitationall and John Thomas Terrier Classic.
• Finished in second place in the men's mile race at the Wieczorek Invitational, running the 10th-fastest time at 4:06.77
• Clocked a time of 7:59.98 in the 3000m race at the John Thomas Terrier Classic. The time is the fourth sub-8:00.00 3000m race in program history and is the second-fastest in program history.
