Lindenwood 11, Bradley 6
St. Charles, Mo. – Bradley built an early lead but could not slow Lindenwood's offense late, falling 11–6 Tuesday afternoon at Lou Brock Sports Complex.
The Braves struck first in the second inning. Anthony Martinez came around to score on a wild pitch before Sohrab Rezaei delivered an RBI single through the left side to give Bradley a 2–0 advantage.
Lindenwood answered in the third with an RBI single from Will Geary to trim the deficit to 2–1, then took the lead in the fourth. William Zareh launched a two-run home run to left field and a run-scoring groundout from Mathew Graf pushed the Lions ahead 4–2.
Bradley responded with its biggest inning in the fifth. AJ Garcia lined a two-RBI single through the right side to tie the game, Michael Quick brought home another run on a groundout, and Jack Holubowski followed with an RBI single to give the Braves a 6–4 lead.
The Lions quickly swung the momentum back. Lindenwood scored on a wild pitch in the fifth before Tyler Ellis tied the game with a solo home run in the sixth. A sacrifice fly later in the inning gave the Lions a 7–6 lead.
Lindenwood added distance in the eighth inning with four runs, highlighted by a two-RBI single from Zareh and another run-scoring hit from Graf to extend the lead to 11–6.
Bradley was unable to mount a late rally as Lindenwood closed the door in the ninth to secure the victory.
Offensively, Bradley finished with six hits. Sohrab Rezaei and Jack Holubowski each recorded two hits, while AJ Garcia drove in two runs during the fifth-inning surge.
On the mound, Drew Politte started and worked four innings before Jackson Horras took the loss in relief. Eli Lehrman, Brady Appel, and Diego Menjivar also saw time out of the bullpen.
Lindenwood totaled 11 hits in the contest, led by William Zareh with three hits and four RBIs.
