SILVIS, Ill. -- In a Missouri Valley Conference Championship that came down to the final holes, Bradley Women's Golf finished runner-up at the 2026 Championship at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Ill.

The team started the tournament strong, putting themselves towards the top of the leaderboard from tee-off. Battling a windy back-nine, Bradley finished day one in second place at 307, three strokes off the lead. Alyssa Mixon finished day one as Bradley's top finisher, firing a one-over-par 73 to finish in a tie for first. Jillian Cosler was Bradley's second-best finisher, firing a 77 to end day one tied for eighth. Caroline McConnell (T-13th) and Allison Pacocha (T-20th) placed just behind Cosler after Sunday.

Bradley began to take a hold of the team standings in round two, flipping a three-stroke deficit into a 12-stroke advantage after recording a 303 on Monday. Four Braves finished round two in seventh place or better, and all five Braves finished the round in 17th or better. Mixon continued to lead the way for Bradley, carding a 78 to finish day two in second place. Pacocha finished day two in third place after firing a two-over-par 74, while Cosler followed close behind in a tie for fourth after recording another 77. McConnell also fired 77 in round two and entered day three tied for seventh. Peyton Coburn rebounded in round two, firing a three-over-par 75 to vault into the top 20 entering Tuesday.

The final round was a battle at the top of the standings, and the Braves finished the tournament with a score of 314 on Tuesday. Coburn and McConnell's 78s led the final round for Bradley, while Cosler and Mixon closely followed at 79. After recording a 54-hole score of 924, Bradley ultimately finished one stroke behind champions Murray State.

Alyssa Mixon's third-place finish was the best of her career and her second top-10 finish of the season. Mixon also earned MVC All-Tournament honors as one of the top five individual finishers (plus ties) in the tournament.

Allison Pacocha, who was one of three Braves to finish tied for ninth, recorded her third top-10 finish of the season -- matching her career total from her first three seasons. Pacocha's senior season saw her garner All-MVC recognition for the first time as she was voted onto the MVC All-Conference team.

Jillian Cosler's ninth-place finish was the eighth of her Bradley career, tied for the 14th-most in a career all-time. Like Pacocha, Cosler was also voted onto the league's All-Conference team, earning All-MVC honors for the third time in as many seasons. She is the sixth Brave to win at least three selections to the MVC All-Conference team.

For Caroline McConnell, this ninth-place finish was her fifth top-10 finish of 2025-26. That is the most any Brave has had in a season in the Morell era and since 2018-19, when Taylor Ledwein had five that season. McConnell's season earned her automatic placement onto the league's All-Conference team -- the first of her career.

Peyton Coburn placed tied for 17th in the tournament. Coburn has finished in 20th or better in both of her MVC Tournament appearances.

For the team, this is the third straight year and the 15th out of the last 16 years that at least one person has been on the All-MVC team. It is the first time three or more Braves have been on the team since 2018 (Taylor Ledwein, Frankie Saban, Ally Scaccia). It is also the first time that five Braves have finished in the top 20 of an MVC Championship since 2004.
