NORMAL, Ill. – Bradley Baseball dropped the second game of the weekend series to Illinois State, 1-0.
A Pitching Duel
Both starting pitchers showed up, as neither allowed a single run. The top of the sixth was the first and only half-inning in which either team recorded more than one hit, as the Braves had singles from both Sohrab Rezaei and Landon Lowe.
The only run came in the bottom of the seventh after Illinois State loaded the bases without recording a hit. An RBI single to left-center field secured Illinois State's 1-0 win.
Standout Performances for Bradley
Lowe hit 3-for-4 with a double and was one of two players across both teams to record a multi-hit game. Rezaei extended his on-base streak to 25 games, going 1-for-4 in the matchup.
Hayden Miller, River Lindsey, and AJ Garcia also recorded hits.

Robert Sanford had a phenomenal game, throwing five innings while allowing three hits and two walks and striking out five. Davis Webb relieved Sanford and took his third loss this season, yielding one run on two hits and three walks and striking out five.
