PREVIEWING THE LIONS
The Lindenwood Lions are 6-6 on the 2026 dual season and 3-2 in Ohio Valley Conference play. The Lions are currently on a two-match skid, falling to SIUE on March 31, 7-0, and SEMO on April 6, 5-2, to wrap up OVC play. Lindenwood and Bradley have gone 2-1 against three common oppenents this season so far, as both teams knocked off Missouri State and Western Illinois and fell to SIUE.
This will be the third all-time meeting between Lindenwood and Bradley, with the two programs splitting the prior meetings. The Braves defeated the Lions on March 13, 2024, 6-1, in the first meeting, while Lindenwood won last season's meeting, 5-2, on March 17, 2025. This will mark the first match between the two that is hosted by Bradley.
All Lindenwood players have at least four wins in singles this season, while Megan Caffin, Sofija Dunisijevic and Paola Garcia each have seven wins. Lindenwood has been strong in singles matches in 2026, holding a 36-33 record during dual season. In doubles, the pairs of Dunisijevic/Michelle Trochez and Garcia/Fabiana Labrador each have three wins together.

Bradley is coming off its first home conference matches of the season, falling to Murray State, 4-3, on April 3 and defeating Belmont, 5-2, on April 4.
Mariia Pukhina went 3-1 in her matches over the weekend, incluidng a perfect 2-0 on court three in singles play.
Ruby Tseng went 3-0, winning her only doubles match and winning her fourth singles match in a row.
TEAM NEWS & NOTES
- Saturday's victory marked the first time this season that the winning team scored higher than four points. Every match prior to Saturday finished with the either a 4-3 or 4-2 final score.
- Ruby Tseng's singles victory against Belmont marked her 30th victory of the season between singles and doubles play. She is the eighth sophomore all-time to achieve 30 combined wins and the first to do so since Anna Belogliadova did it in 2023-24.
- Five Braves have at least 20 combined victories this season, while the team has a 102-92 record in all matches this season.
- Mariia Pukhina and Anna Belogliadova have entered the top 20 all-time in combined career victories. Pukhina is now 18th all-time at 88 combined wins, while Belogliadova is just behind her in 19th with 86 combined wins. Tied for 17th in their former teammate, Kirstin Hailey, at 90 career combined wins.
- In the Missouri Valley Conference standings, UIC currently ranks #1 with a perfect 3-0 record. Murray State had its 21-match conference winning streak snapped by Illinois State on Saturday, and both teams are now tied for 2nd at 3-1, with Illinois State holding the tiebreaker. Drake sits in fourth at 2-1 after sweeping UNI, and Bradley checks in at fifth at 2-2. Belmont currently holds the final conference tournament spot at 1-3, while Valparaiso and UNI are tied for seventh at 0-3.

Bradley hits the road for its final true road matches of the regular season, heading to Iowa for conference matchups against Drake and Northern Iowa on April 11 and April 12. First serve against Drake is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. in Des Moines.
