PEORIA, Ill. -- Bradley Tennis won its second consecutive match of the dual season on Wednesday, defeating the Lindenwood Lions 4-3.
In doubles play,
Valeriia Ivanovskaia and
Ann Hsieh won their fifth consecutive match together with a 6-2 win on court one.
Compassion Tsai and
Anna Belogliadova won their match 6-3 in an impressive display to secure the doubles point for Bradley.
Mariia Pukhina and
Ruby Tseng had the advantage in the third match, leading 5-4 when Bradley secured the doubles point.
Valeriia Ivanovskaia,
Ruby Tseng, and
Mariia Pukhina each won their points on courts one, two, and three to give Bradley the win. Pukhina had complete control of her match, winning in straight sets 6-1, 6-0, victory in just under one hour. After three Lindenwood victories put the Lions up 3-2, Ivanovskaia took the first set 6-2 before dropping the second set 2-6, and she won the final set 6-2 to secure her singles point. Tseng's match was closely contested throughout as the first set went to a tiebreak, which she won 7-5. After dropping the second set 4-6, Tseng prevailed in the final set, 6-4, helping Bradley clinch a 4-3 win.

Bradley makes its final conference road trip of the regular season, facing Drake in Des Moines on April 11 and Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls on April 12. First serve against Drake is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
