PEORIA, Ill. -- Bradley University baseball athlete Michael Quick has been named this week's Busey Bank Scholar-Athlete of the Week, announced Tuesday. Quick was honored after tallying nine hits in 18 at-bats across five games from May 6-10.

The senior from Oshawa, Ontario, recorded a .500 batting average in games against Illinois, Gardner-Webb and Campbell. Quick tied his season-high in hits in Friday's game against Gardner-Webb, going 4-for-4 with two doubles. In total, Quick tallied three doubles and three runs scored across the games. 

Quick's strong performance and academic success have earned him this week's Busey Bank Scholar-Athlete honor.
