PEORIA, Ill. -- Bradley University track & field athlete Trixie Wraith has been named this week's Busey Bank Scholar-Athlete of the Week, announced Tuesday. Wraith was honored after winning the 1500m and 5000m conference titles at the 2026 Missouri Valley Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships.

The senior from Hertford, England, earned the first two MVC Championships of her outdoor track & field career in Terre Haute, Ind., winning the gold medal in the 1500m and 5000m events. Wraith is the fourth Brave in the last five MVC Outdoor Championships to win multiple conference titles, and her 1500m title marks the fifth straight year that a Brave has won the Women's 1500m MVC Championship. 

Wraith's strong performance and academic success have earned her this week's Busey Bank Scholar-Athlete honor.
