Indianapolis, IN -- The Bradley Braves earned a road draw against the Butler Bulldogs
A Sunday night clash against another Big East foe resulted in the Bradley Braves picking up their second draw of the 2026 season, with the teams playing to a 0-0 full-time result in Indianapolis.
The Braves and Bulldogs combined for 19 shots on the night, but neither team was able to capitalize on its opportunities. Butler held an 11-8 advantage in shots, including a 6-2 edge in the opening half, while Bradley generated more offensive pressure after halftime. That pressure nearly paid off late, as Max Manzelmann nearly drew a Pentaly Kick on a challenge in the box which just minutes later was followed by senior Mitch Coughlon sending an effort careening off the crossbar that would have given the Braves the lead with just minutes remaining.

Bradley goalkeeper Marçal Salom Chandre made three saves on 11 shots faced to preserve the clean sheet, while Butler's Brooks Boersma recorded one save on eight shots. The Braves also earned six corner kicks to Butler's two, including five after halftime.
The match became increasingly physical late, with six cautions issued overall. Bradley's Luca Meyers-Richter and Fjolnir Sigurjonsson were booked in the first half, while Butler's Jaden Hancock also received a caution. Three additional yellow cards were handed out after halftime, including cautions to Butler's Nacho De Miguel and Evan Muckridge and Bradley's Kael Drummond.

The Bradley Braves will be back in action Thursday night at 7:00 p.m. when they head west to Omaha, NE, to take on the Nebraska-Omaha Mavericks at Caniglia Field.
