PEORIA, Ill. – Head Coach Chaia Meier and the Bradley Women's Basketball program have announced the Braves' 2026-27 nonconference schedule, featuring matchups against several postseason teams, a Thanksgiving tournament in Texas and six games at Renaissance Coliseum.

Meier enters her first season at the helm of the Braves after joining the program from Marquette University. Bradley will feature a new-look roster with three incoming freshmen and three transfers joining seven returning players: Caitlin Washington, Mya Wardle, Lila Posthuma, Ellie McDermid, Inia Jones, Kali Fortson and Claire McDougall.

Nonconference Slate

Bradley opens the season against Saint Louis, who advanced to the Atlantic 10 Championship as the No. 11 seed last season. The Billikens return reigning A-10 Rookie of the Year Alyssa Kokenge.

The Braves will also face Wisconsin, semifinalists in last season's Women's Basketball Invitation Tournament. The Badgers added Iowa transfer Addie Deal, a member of the Big Ten All-Freshman Team.

Bradley's home opener will come against Northern Illinois at Renaissance Coliseum. The Braves will later travel to Indiana, who reached the Big Ten Tournament last season and welcomes the nation's No. 8-ranked recruiting class.

The nonconference schedule also includes rematches with Bellarmine and DePaul. Bradley earned victories over both opponents last season, defeating Bellarmine, 67-38, and DePaul, 78-64.

The Braves will spend Thanksgiving at the Texas State Tournament, where they will face UTEP, host Texas State and Pacific.

Bradley returns home for its annual Kids Day game against Kent State before renewing its in-state matchup with Western Illinois. The Leathernecks earned an 84-77 victory in Macomb last season but will be without OVC Player of the Year Mia Nicastro, who finished fourth nationally in scoring.

The Braves will also meet South Dakota after earning a 65-62 victory over the Coyotes last season.

Bradley closes its nonconference schedule at Renaissance Coliseum against Memphis before beginning Missouri Valley Conference play.
