PEORIA, Ill. – Bradley University Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics Dr. Chris Reynolds has been named to the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Oversight Committee, effective September 1, 2026.

Reynolds replaces Missouri Valley Conference Commissioner Jeff Jackson, who will now serve on the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Committee, which is responsible for selecting, seeding and bracketing the field for the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship.

The Division I Men's Basketball Oversight Committee is responsible for maintaining appropriate oversight of men's basketball while enhancing the development and public perception of the sport. The committee makes recommendations related to regular-season and postseason men's basketball and prioritizes the student-athlete educational experience, personal growth and leadership development.

The committee also oversees qualifications and selection procedures for the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship, reviews recommendations from the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Committee and addresses issues related to the administration of the championship.

Reynolds brings extensive NCAA committee experience to the role. He chaired the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Committee during the 2022-23 season, concluding a five-year term that began in 2018. He became the first Missouri Valley Conference athletics director to chair the committee and has served on numerous NCAA committees during more than 20 years of national service.

Reynolds was named Bradley University's 10th Director of Athletics in March 2015 and was elevated to Vice President in March 2018. He has more than 25 years of intercollegiate athletics administration experience.
