Junior Season (2004): Missed the first three matches of the season and a total of five during the year due to an ankle injury suffered in the preseason ... Led the team with 1,059 assists and was third on the squad with 189 digs (2.10 per game) ... Ranked fifth in the Valley with an 11.77 assists per game average ... Averaged 11.95 assists per game in conference play ... Tied for the team lead with seven double-doubles ... Broke the school single-match record with 73 assists at Butler in her fourth match of the season ... Earned all-tournament honors at the Northern Iowa Panther Invitational, helping Bradley to a second-place finish ... Also tied a career high with six kills at Butler ... Sophomore Season (2003): Vance had a solid year in her first season as the primary setter for the Braves ... One of two players to play in all 112 games and one of three to start all 31 matches ... She ranked third in the MVC in assists per game (12.27) and her 1,374 assists rank as the second best season total in program history ... Ranked second on the team in total digs (264) and third in digs per game (2.36) ... Was third on the team in block assists (61) ... Averaged 13 assists per game in conference games as the Braves owned a .225 hitting percentage in league games and just .180 in non-conference action ... Posted her first career triple-double with 57 assists, 18 digs and 11 block assists at Drake ... Owned a team-best eight double-doubles on the year ... Freshman Season (2002): Used in a defensive role and backup to senior setter Amelie Rodrigue, Vance appeared in 29 matches and 78 games as a true freshman ... Served as the Braves primary setter in seven games, averaging 15.1 assists per game in those contests ... One of Bradley’s better passers, Vance was used in the back row for most of the season and had four double-digit dig efforts on the year ... Posted a season-high 16 digs at Southwest Missouri State and had one double-double on the year with 14 assists and 10 digs vs. Evansville.
High School: The only player in Paxton-Buckley-Loda High School history to start all four seasons on the varsity squad, Vance collected first-team all-conference honors all four seasons ... Earned second-team all-state honors as a senior and honorable mention all-state recognition as a junior ... A unanimous all-conference choice her junior and senior seasons, she holds school records for kills in a game, match, season and career ... A first-team all-area pick by the Champaign News-Gazette as both a junior and senior, Vance also earned all-area honors from the Bloomington Pantagraph following her senior campaign ...
