Five Questions
with Dave Reynolds (Peoria Journal Star beat writer)
What was your biggest adjustment to the college game?
My biggest adjustment had to be the speed of the game. The game is a lot faster in college than in high school. You have to make quicker decisions and be smarter, as well.
What was your personal highlight last season?
My best personal highlight was when I got my first dunk in a game last year (Nov. 26, 2005 versus Chicago State). I was pretty crunk.
What is “crunk?”
Crunk is getting hyped up, pumped, and getting the mindset that there is no one that can mess with you.
What specific areas on your game are you working on for next season?
I believe I need to work on all aspects of my game for next season, but I believe my mid-range game needs the most work. I want to come in ready and make a statement.
How can this year off help you?
It can make me work even harder because it is going to hurt watching, so when I get my chance next year I will be ready.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
Hopefully raising my family and helping little “Ray Ray” become the best player he can be.
