Shattered the school records for hit by pitches in a career (57) and in a season (25) in 2010 ... Led the 2010 Braves with 58 runs scored, seven home runs, a .549 slugging percentage and a .469 on-base percentage ... His 58 runs in 51 games in 2010 tied the fourth-best single-season total in program history ... A two-time all-conference selection at second base, Fritz ended his career with a .970 career fielding percentage ... In 2009, Fritz ranked second in The Valley and tied for third in school history by swiping 24 bases ... Led the 2008 Braves with a .477 on-base percentage.
2007 - Freshman at DePauw University
In his only year at DePauw, Fritz hit .154 in a limited role ... Played in 20 games, rotating between second base, shortstop and third base ... Despite getting only 39 at-bats, Fritz shared the team lead with six hit-by-pitches and was second on the team with three sacrifice bunts.
High School
A four-year letterman in both baseball and soccer at Glenbrook North (Ill.) High School, Fritz was a two-time all-conference shortstop and received all-area honors as a senior ... Hit .430 with five homeruns and 20 RBI's during his final prep season ... Was successful on 25-of-26 stolen base attempts in 2006 ...
