The team's top hitter in his first season as a Brave in 2010, Martin led Bradley with a .364 batting average, 75 hits, four triples, 39 RBI's and 24 stolen bases ... Tied the third-best single-season mark in program history with his 24 steals ... Was The Valley's fourth-leading hitter in conference play last season with a .395 average.

As a prepster at Lombard Montini Catholic (Ill.) High School, Martin was a multi-sport star who only played baseball as a freshman and senior ... In between, he won the 2004 and 2005 Class A wrestling state championships at the 130-pound weight class ... As one of the nation's top wrestling recruits, Martin originally signed with Fresno State, but the school dropped its wrestling program prior to the start of his freshman year in 2006 ... With the opportunity to wrestle at Fresno State no longer an option, Martin took a year to refine his baseball skills ... He enrolled at the College of DuPage in 2007 and asked for a tryout with the Chaparrals' baseball program.
2009 - Sophomore at College of DuPage
Martin led all of NJCAA Division III with 81 hits, 13 triples, 63 runs batted in and 55 stolen bases en route to earning first team All-American and All-Region IV honors in 2009 ... Finished with a .426 batting average, including 13 doubles and eight homeruns ... Set the NJCAA Division III all-time record for triples in a season (13) and shares the honor with Joe Talerico of Brookdale Community College ... Member of the College of DuPage honor roll.

Hit a blistering .497 with 13 home runs and 68 RBI's in just 45 games ... Stole 25 bases and was named to the All-Region IV first team.
High School
A three-sport star at Lombard Montini Catholic, Martin lettered in baseball, golf and wrestling for the Broncos ... Received all-area honors after hitting .409 with nine home runs as a senior ...
