A transfer from Dodge City Community College, Pickett earned a spot on the 2013 MVC All-Newcomer team by averaging 11.0 ppg and 5.5 rpg in his debut season with the Braves ... His 94 offensive rebounds in 2012-13 equalled the single-season school record (since 1993) and were third-most in The Valley for the season ... Pickett’s 23 points Nov. 9, 2012 versus Eastern Illinois were the most by a debuting Brave since Chet “The Jet” Walker scored 44 points versus Abilene Christian Dec. 3, 1959 ... Bradley's second-leading scorer in 2013-14 by averaging 12.1 ppg and finished third in The Valley by averaging 7.6 rpg ... Led the MVC with 2.7 offensive rebounds per game as a senior.

At Dodge City Community College
Averaged 14.9 points and 8.9 rebounds per game as a sophomore, earning second-team All-Jayhawk West honors ... As a freshman Pickett averaged 13.0 ppg and 8.0 rpg ... Earned honorable mention honors on the 2011 NJCAA Region VI Team ... Shot 54.4 percent from the field and 69.8 percent from the free throw line as a junior college freshman.

At Passaic H.S.
During his senior season at Passaic High School in 2009-10, Pickett averaged 18.1 points and 10.8 rebounds per game.

The son of Tyrone Brown and Renee Pickett, Tyshon was born June 6, 1991 in Passaic, N.J. ... One of four siblings, he has two brothers, Jayquan and Jayshon, and a sister, Stasha Valdez ... Majoring in family and consumer science, Pickett earned a spot on the Bradley Athletic Director's Honor Roll during the 2012 Fall and 2013 Spring semesters.
