Bradley University Athletics

ABOUT US...
The Bradley University Cheerleading Squad is a co-ed group of student-athletes who are dedicated to the support of the University and its NCAA Division 1 Athletics programs. We cheer for both men's and women's basketball, soccer and volleyball. We also travel with men's and women's basketball to their respective post-season conference and NCAA Tournaments.

The squad has been seen on local, regional and national television on FOX Sports, ESPN and CBS and has appeared on foxsports.com and si.com.

2021-22 Open Positions
The Bradley University Cheerleading Squad is currently looking to fill open positions listed below. If you would like to try out for the current squad please contact either head coach at the following addresses: Darby Brenkman at dbrenkman@fsmail.bradley.edu

Female fliers – fliers would preferably have cheer and/or tumbling experience. Training will be provided for flying with both All girl stunt groups and Coed stunt partners
Male bases – no experience needed; the team is looking for males that would be taught to stunt and cheer for the Bradley University Teams.

2022-23 Open Gym Information
Dates for the 2022-23 Bradley University Cheerleading Open Gym times have not yet been released. Please continue to check back, or follow us on Instagram (@bradleyu_cheer), for updates.

In preparation for tryouts, please note the following:

Female tryout participants should wear any red, black or white non-cheer issued shirt and shorts, white socks and cheer shoes.
Any hair bows should be white in color.
Male tryout participants should wear any red, black or white non-cheer issued shirt and shorts with white socks and tennis shoes.
Proof of insurance and proof of a physical within the last 365 days of the tryout date must be submitted by all tryout participants planning to attend no less than three days prior to tryouts.
