Celebrity Golfer:  Dick Versace

Opening Bid: $300  Minimum Raise $50

One of the more colorful personalities in Bradley Basketball history, Dick Versace has done just about all there is to be done in the game.  As head coach at Bradley from 1978 to 1986, Versace led the Braves to the 1982 NIT championship, two NCAA Tournaments and the winningest season in school history.  His 1985-86 squad finished 32-3 to tie the school record for wins in a season and remains the last Missouri Valley Conference squad to go unbeaten (16-0) during the league regular-season race.  Versace went on to coach the Indiana Pacers, then enjoyed a successful broadcasting career as a television analsyt for the NBA on Turner Sports.  Most recently, he was the President of the Vancouver/Memphis Grizzlies until retiring to nearby Canton, Ill.
