Academics & Student Development

The goal of the Academics & Student Development program is to aid student-athletes in their personal growth by providing individualized support services and leadership opportunities.  Students will be challenged to maximize their potential en route to earning their degree at Bradley and achieving success beyond graduation.  

Academics: Quick Facts

  • Bradley student-athletes have won the Missouri Valley Conference All-Academic Champion title three times in the last six years.
  • The most recent GSR data indicates that Bradley student-athletes graduated at a record 96 percent rate, compared to 89 percent for all student-athletes across the country who began college in 2014.
  • In the NCAA's initial Academic Progress Report, Bradley was tied for seventh nationally with Harvard, the United States Naval Academy and Samford.
  • Bradley has garnered NCAA recognition every year for multiyear Academic Progress Rates (APR) among the top 10 percent in the country for multiple sports
  • Bradley's multi-year APR for 2020-21 was 992, well above the national average of 984.
  • Bradley student-athletes remain committed to community involvement, logging nearly 2000 volunteer hours in 2021-22. 
  • Over the past three years, student-athletes entered the work force or continued their education at a rate of 99%.
