Laura Bachman is a senior nursing major from Metamora, IL. She has held an on-campus job as a student admissions representative in the admissions office since her sophomore year. Last summer, she was able to be a part of the OSF Student Nurse Externship program in Peoria. Laura’s position was on the Pediatric Intermediate floor, and it was such an amazing position. She really fell in love with pediatric nursing! She is also a part of Sigma Kappa, a social sorority on campus. Laura has held numerous positions including vice president of philanthropic services. She is part of the executive board for the Bradley Student Nursing Association and this year was elected by the senior class to be a department of nursing student representative for the advisory board. Post-graduation, Laura hopes to start out by working at OSF in Peoria and stay close to home. Her main areas of interest are Pediatrics, Neonatal, and Postpartum, but overall, she is just excited to start working as a registered nurse. Laura is so thankful for her family, friends, and mentors at Bradley that have helped her these past four years.
