Sumner Meyer - School of Nursing MVP Presented by OSF HealthCare

Bradley University Athletics

During Sumner Meyer's time at Bradley University, she has completed over 500 clinical hours. These clinical hours have been completed on many different floors at OSF including a general medical-surgical floor, a general orthopedic floor, and a general pediatrics floor. Sumner had the golden opportunity to follow a highly qualified and well-respected cardiac nurse practitioner. In addition, she had the amazing experience of being a nurse intern at OSF on the general cardiac floor (5G – 5000/5100) during the 2023 summer months. Through Bradley, she was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau Honors Nursing Society in April of 2023. Bradley and OSF have given Sumner many opportunities to grow as a student and as a person! After graduation, she plans to work at OSF as a nurse and looks forward to potentially continuing her education to become a nurse practitioner in the future.
