Career Stats Career Statistics Biography Summary Biography HONORS & AWARDS MLB Free Agent Signing: Chicago White Sox (2019) MVC Commissioner's Academic Excellence Award: 2019 MVC Honor Roll (2): 2017, 2019 Bradley AD Honor Roll: Fall ‘14, Fall ‘16, Spring ‘17, Spring ‘19 AT BRADLEY • 2015-19 • A versatile, 2-way player, Beer started at five different positions in his Bradley career - 2B (19), 3B (11), P (6), 1B (1), DH (1) - while working the back of the Bradley bullpen in his final three seasons. • Returning from a medical redshirt season in 2018, Beer appeared in a career-best 20 games in 2019, going 2-1 with seven saves and a 1.59 ERA. • Fanned 28 batters in 22.2 IP (11.1 K/9IP) in his final season. • His 15 career saves were second in Bradley history at the time of his graduation and his 54 career relief appearances were the fifth-best total in program history. • Beer recorded seven saves in 2016, then matched that total in 2019 to equal the third-best single-season total in program history.
