Named to the 2012 Johnny Bench Award Watch List, Jarvis boasted one of the strongest and most accurate arms in college baseball ... Voted the top defensive catcher in the MVC by the league's head coaches in 2013, Jarvis enjoyed a streak of 67 consecutive games without committing an error spanning the 2013 and 2014 seasons ... Finished ninth in Bradley Baseball history with 833 career putouts ... Finished second in program history with 27 career sacrifice bunts.

A 2010 preseason Under Armour All-American, Jarvis backed up the hype by hitting .526 with 15 home runs and 76 RBI's during his senior season ... Capped the year by winning the Courier News Player of the Year and the Daily Herald co-Player of the Year ... Also was a three-time all-conference and all-area performer at Burlington Central High School ... Led BCHS to regional titles in 2009 and 2010 ... Hit .436 with six home runs as a sophomore in 2008 and .460 with six more dingers in 2009.

The son of Michael and Rebecca Jarvis, Austin has two younger siblings, Alexis and Jake ... Majoring in sociology, Jarvis graduated in May 2014 after earning a spot on the Bradley Athletic Director's Honor Roll five times.
