AT BRADLEY (2017-21)
•  The 2017 Missouri Valley Conference Freshman of the Year and a Collegiate Baseball Newspaper Freshman All-American, Dougherty started 196 consecutive games to end his career, a streak of consecutive starts at third base that was believed to be the longest in the nation for players active during the 2021 season.
•  The first four-time All-MVC selection in program history, Dougherty ended his career second in program history with 772 career at-bats, fourth with 236 base hits, sixth with 198 games started, eighth with 144 runs scored and ninth with 98 walks.
•  Reached base safely in the final 38 games of his career, a streak that was the longest by any Bradley player since at least 1999.
AT DOWLING CATHOLIC H.S.
•    A three-year varsity letterman, Dougherty was a first-team all-state selection as a senior in 2015-16 and a second-team all-state pick as a junior in 2014-15.
•    Hit .467 with 35 RBI’s in 39 games his senior season and .402 with 33 RBI’s in 38 games as a junior.
•    A 3-sport athlete, Dougherty also played basketball and football.
•    Helped the football team to the 2015 state championship and the basketball team to a state tournament appearance in his senior season.
PERSONAL
•    The son of Mike and Colleen Dougherty, Brendan was born May 12, 1998 in Snellville, GA.
•    Has an older brother, Brady, and a younger sister, Shannon.
•    Graduated in 2020 with his bachelor's degree in communications (sports communication).
