Appeared in 16 games with seven starts during his freshman season on The Hilltop … Logged a team-high 54.0 innings pitched while striking out 28 batters … Finished the year with a 7.33 ERA and held opponents to a .310 batting average … Recorded 12 assists defensively and helped turn two double plays on the mound. 

HIGH SCHOOL
Scheider arrived at Bradley after a standout career at Hampshire High School in Illinois, where he was a two-time First Team All-Conference and First Team All-Area selection. On the mound, he helped lead the Whippurs to back-to-back regional championships, posting a 7-3 record with a 2.40 ERA and 82 strikeouts over 61.1 innings as a senior. As a junior, he went 6-1 with a 1.27 ERA and 66 strikeouts in 49.2 innings pitched.
