AT BRADLEY (2020-21)
•  Joined the Braves as one of 13 newcomers in 2020, as well as one of five transfers from Madison College the last two years.
•  Appeared in three games during the abbreviated 2020 season, going 2-for-7 with a RBI and a run scored.
•  Started 21 of the final 22 games in left field to close the 2021 season.
•  Set the Dozer Park single-game collegiate records with three home runs - two righthanded and one lefty - and 12 total bases May 20, 2021 versus Illinois State.
•  The power display against the Redbirds also marked the first game on record in Bradley history that a player homered from both sides of the plate in the same game.

AT MADISON COLLEGE
•  Played in 74 games at Madison College, where he hit .272 with 67 runs scored.
 
AT APPLETON NORTH HS
•  A 3-sport athlete at Appleton North, Valk earned three letters in baseball and three in basketball, while also playing volleyball one season.
•  Selected second-team All-Fox Valley Association as a sophomore on the diamond and also earned all-conference honors as a senior basketball player.
 
PERSONAL
•  The son of Bruce and Carol Valk, Carl was born Feb. 9, 1999 in Appleton, WI.
•  Older sister, Sylvia (24).
•  Uncle, Joe Hietpas, played baseball at Northwestern and in the New York Mets organization.
