Cody Kentzel Career Statistics

At Bradley (2011-14)
Kentzel was a high school teammate of fellow Bradley Baseball classmate Derek Sprout... Was used out of the bullpen in each of his 28 career college appearances... Worked a career-high 13.2 innings in 2013, recording a 3.95 ERA in his eight appearances ... In his final season in 2014, Kentzel did not allow a run in seven of his 10 appearances.

High School
A three-time all-conference pitcher at Illinois Valley Central High School, Kentzel helped the Grey Ghosts to a pair of state tournament trophies, second place in 2008 and third place in 2009 ... In his final three years, Kentzel combined for a 25-5 record with a 2.50 earned run average and 239 strikeouts in 179.2 innings ... Played in the area McDonald's All-Star Game in 2008, 2009 and 2010 and in the 2010 Seniors Game ... Also was a three-time all-conference performer on the gridiron, helping IVC to playoff appearances all three years (2007, 2008, 2009).
