Surber transferred to Bradley in 2012 from John A. Logan College after beginning his collegiate career in 2010 at Clemson ... Made eight appearances in his first season with the Braves in 2013 ... In his lone start, April 20 versus Eureka, Surber tossed a perfect opening inning to begin Bradley's eventual 20-0 victory ... Did not appear in a game durin ghte 2014 season.

Posted a 7-3 record in 2012, helping the Volunteers to conference and sectional championships.

At Lisle High School
A four-year baseball letterman at Lisle, Surber also played football and basketball for the Lions ... A first-team 2A all-state selection as a senior in 2010, Surber also earned Interstate 8 all-conference honors in 2008 and 2010 ... Set Lisle H.S. career and single-season records for doubles, home runs, RBI's and pitching victories ... Hit .460 with 11 home runs and recorded eight wins on the mound during his senior season in 2010 ...
