Set Bradley's single-season school record with eight saves as a junior in 2011 ... Used in virtually every pitching role -- weekend starter, midweek starter, middle relief and closer -- during his four-year career, Ziegler is tied for fifth in school history with 63 career pitching appearances ... Pitching as Bradley's No. 2 starter during the 2012 season, Ziegler will set the single-season school record with his 16th pitching start of the year Wednesday.
High School
The most honored pitcher in Olathe Northwest (Kan.) High School history, Ziegler was a two-time all-state pick in Kansas Class 6A, earning honorable mention honors in 2007 and second team recognition in 2008 ... Finished his senior season 6-3 with a 1.05 ERA, 48 strikeouts and only four walks in 56 innings pitched ... Set single-season school records for ERA and strikeouts as a senior and owns career records for ERA (1.69) and strikeouts (122) ... Received first team all-league honors twice (2007-08) and first team all-city accolades three times (2006-08) ... Also played four years of soccer for the Ravens, earning first team all-league honors in 2006 and helping the team win regional championships in 2007 and 2008 ... Member of the Olathe Northwest honor roll.

The son of Rand and Marci Ziegler, Justin was born Oct. 23, 1989 ... Has one younger sister, Karissa ... Majoring in art (graphic design), Ziegler earned his degree in 2012 ... Interned in the Office of Athletic Communications as a graphic designer during the 2012 spring semester.
