AT BRADLEY (2018-21)

•  A two-time All-MVC second-team selection, Rice has been named to the national Catcher-of-the-Year watch list in each of his first four seasons.
•  Bradley’s starting catcher in 133 games in his first four seasons, Rice ranks third in program history by throwing out 50 runners trying to steal.
•  Tied for fifth in Bradley Baseball history with 102 career walks, Rice is Bradley's active leader with a .409 career on-base percentage.
•  Bradley’s staff ERA was 6.82 before his arrival in 2017, but dropped to 4.88 in 2018 and then ranked eighth nationally at 3.37 in 2019.
•  Led all Missouri Valley Conference catchers with a .316 batting average during his freshman season in 2018.
•  Ranked 35th nationally by drawing 0.87 walks per game and tied the third-best single-season total in program history with 40 free passes, leading to a .422 on-base percentage in 2019.
•  During one 3-game stretch in 2019, Rice reached base in 11-of-14 plate appearances on nine walks and two hit-by-pitches.
•  Led the 2020 Braves with five doubles during the 10-game season.

AT GENESEO H.S.

•  A three-time varsity letterwinner, Rice helped the Maple Leafs to three consecutive Reginal Championships.
•  Was a three-time All-Conference honoree while winning the 2016 Conference Player of the Year, the 2017 All-Metro Player of the Year and earning a selection to the 2017 All-State Team.
•  Batted .531 with six home runs, 17 doubles and 43 RBI as a senior.
•  Played on the Boys’ Basketball team and won the Rebounding Award as well as the Maple Leaf Teammate Award.
•  Also was a member of the Men’s Volleyball Club.

PERSONAL

•  The son of of Jason and Rhonda Rice, Keaton was born Dec. 18, 1998 in Geneseo, IL.
•  Two older siblings -- Jena and Brady.
