An honorable mention All-MVC reliever in 2008, Jensen missed the entire 2009 season due to "Tommy John" surgery ... After graduating last summer with his degreen in finance, Jensen added a second degree in marketing May 5 ... Set the school single-season record with seven saves in 2008 and is tied for second in school history with eight career saves ... Has made his first two career starts in the last two weekends, allowing two runs in 10.0 innings.
2007 - Sophomore at Hutchinson County Community College
One of only two players to start all 55 games, Jensen also made 10 pitching appearances for the Dragons in 2007 ... Went 1-2 on the mound with a 3.47 ERA and 19 strikeouts in 36.1 innings of work ... Earned one save and pitched in three combined shutouts ... Offensively, he finished second on the team with 45 RBI's and led the squad with five sacrifice flies ... Named an NJCAA Academic All-American.
High School
A four-year letterman for coach Jim Foltz at Goddard (Kan.) High School, Jensen helped the Lions win the state championship in 2004 ... Also earned a varsity letter as a member of the bowling team ... Four-year member of the Presidential Honor Roll.
Personal
The son of Jeff and LaDonna Jensen, Kori was born Aug. 19, 1987 ... Has two younger brothers, Kyle (17) and Kody (13) ... Graduated in August with a degree in finance and is now pursuing a second degree in marketing.
