At Bradley
A shoulder injury suffered in the 2007 State Farm MVC Tournament forced McMillan to redshirt the 2008 season and limited him to just 15 games in 2009 ... Battled back to enjoy a career year in 2010, hitting .352 overall and .375 in conference play ... Dislocated his shoulder again, however, in the 2010 regular-season finale versus Indiana State and was limited to one pinch-hit at bat during the State Farm MVC Tournament ... Tied the school record for hits in a game during a 6-for-6 performance in the second game of a doubleheader April 25, 2010 at Evansville ... The Braves were 27-13 (.675) in the 40 games McMillan started at first base during the 2007 season.

High School
A two-sport star at Normal University (Ill.) High School, McMillan was a four-time all-conference performer on the diamond for the Pioneers ... Hit .430 during his senior campaign as was named team MVP ... Also played basketball at Normal U-High, earning all-conference honors three times and team MVP honors twice ... Member of the National Honor Society.

The son of David and Pat McMillan, Mike was born Oct. 2, 1986 ... Father played college baseball at Illinois Wesleyan University ... Brother, Lance, played baseball at I-74 rival Illinois State ...
