At Bradley
After missing most of the 2011 season with a stress fracture in his throwing arm, Flanagan has become one of the Braves regulars out of the bullpen ... Made seven Valley appearances in 2012 and turned in scoreless outings in five of those seven outings ... He also picked up the win in Bradley's 2012 Missouri Valley Conference Tournament opening round victory of Missouri State, the program's first MVC Tournament win since 2007 ... Made a staff-high 20 appearances in 2013 and is Bradley's active career leader with 38 career relief appearances.

Rend Lake College (2009-2010)
While playing for the Warriors under head coach Tony Etnier, Flanagan was All GRAC(Great Rivers Athletic Conference) for the 2009 and 2010 season ... He was named 2010 All Region Athlete with the Warriors.

With a 3.85 GPA, Flanagan graduated from Salem Community (Ill.) High School in the National Honors Society ... While playing for the Wildcats, he became a three year varsity letterman and MVP during the 2007 and 2008 baseball seaons ... Flanagan played Golf played Golf throughout high school and basketball his Junior and Senior years ... While playing Golf, the Warriors were the first golf team to go to the state tournament in Sale Community history.
