Earned the win in his first career start, fanning a season-best six hitters in 5.1 innings in a 5-4 victory versus Northern Illinois March 28 at O’Brien Field ... Season ERA skewed by his last two outings, when he allowed seven earned runs in a total of 1.1 innings May 19 at UNI and May 25 versus Creighton in the MVC Tournament.
