At Bradley (2013-15)
Figuring into Bradley's rotation of middle relievers in the early going of his freshman season, Toma made his college debut Feb. 18, 2012 versus Virginia Tech by tossing a scoreless ninth inning ... Third on the staff with eight starts during the 2013 season ... Shared the staff lead with four wins in 2013, including 6.0 scoreless innings to start Bradley's 19-0 win at Northern Illinois April 16, 2013 ... Followed with 6.0 more scoreless innings in his next start April 24, 2013 in an eventual 3-2 win against SIU Edwardsville ... Tied for second on the staff by making nine starts in 2014 ... Opened the 2014 season by allowing only one run in 6.0 innings to start a 13-4 win Feb. 15 at Alcorn State… After a rough start in his 2015 season debut, Toma has been effective in 13 relief appearances, before struggling in his last four outings… After allowing just 7 earned runs in 13 outings (2.83 ERA) from Feb. 22-April 22, Toma has allowed nine earned runs in 5.0 innings (16.20 ERA) in his last four appearances with six walks.

A three-year varsity letterman, Toma won the Yorkville High School Pitching Award for head coach Scott Luken ... He also has played high school golf and helped the Foxes to the 2009 state tournament.
