2025-26 SEASON
Cross Country: Ran in six meets during the 2025 season. Began the season with back-to-back victories in the Fighting Illini Open 4K and Bradley Intercollegiate Three-Mile races, running personal best times of 13:08.0 and 16:11.9, respectively. Placed 16th in the 5K Blue race at the Joe Piane Invite, clocking a personal-best time of 16:34.0. Finished runner-up in the 6K Red race at the Bradley Pink Classic, running 20:27.86 to help Bradley win the team title. Earned MVC Runner of the Week after each of her four performances prior to the conference championship. Became the first Bradley woman to win the MVC Cross Country Championship race since 2022, earning MVC Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Year. Led Bradley's women's team to the first-ever perfect score of 15 points in this history of the MVC Championship with a time of 20:48.73. Was Bradley's top finisher in each of the first five meets of the season, accrued three race victories and a second-place finish, registering an average finishing position of 4.2 during that period.
Indoor: Competed in five meets during the 2026 indoor season. Began her indoor campaign by finishing first in the Mile at the Larry Wieczorek Invite, running a time of 4:44.09. Set her season-best 3000m and 5000m times in Boston, running 9:17.89 in the 3000m at the John Thomas Terrier Classic and 16:56.11 in the 5000m at the David Hemery Valentine Invite. Ran the 1600m leg for the Distance Medley Relay squad that set the MVC event record at the Alex Wilson Invite, helping the squad set a mark of 11:07.24. Won her second DMR MVC title of her career at the MVC Indoor Championships, helping Bradley notch an event three-peat. Earned the fourth MVC Indoor crown of her career with a first-place finish in the Mile, clocking 4:40.11 for the third-fastest time in program history. Also earned All-MVC honors in the 3000m event, finishing third at 9:27.34.
Outdoor: Competed in four meets during the 2026 outdoor season. Placed first in the 5000m event at the season-opening WashU Distance Carnival with a personal-best time of 16:15.74, good for the sixth-fastest time in program history. Set the fifth-fastest times in program history in two events over one weekend in California, clocking 2:07.83 (seventh place) in the 800m at the Mike Fanelli Track Classic in San Francisco and 4:15.45 in the 1500m at the Stanford Invite in Palo Alto.
2024-25 SEASON
Cross Country: Competed in six meets during the 2024 season. Began the season with a second-place finish in the 4K race at the Hawkeye Invitational (14:13.4) and a third-place finish in the three-mile race at the Bradley Intercollegiate (17:02.0). Finished third at the MVC Championship with a time of 20:27.2 to earn her first All-MVC Cross Country honor. Earned All-Region honors after finishing 24th at the NCAA Midwest Regional, leading all Braves with a time of 20:28.66. Finished with personal bests in each discipline she competed in during the season.
Indoor: Competed in seven meets during the 2025 indoor season. Began the season with two finishes in the top five in the Mile, highlighted by a second-place finish at the Larry Wieczorek Invitational with a time of 4:43.22 (fourth-fastest all-time). Ran the second-fastest 3000m time in program history at the Meyo Invitational, running 9:14.04 and finishing seventh. Member of the MVC-record-setting Distance Medley Relay team at the Alex Wilson Invite, running the anchor leg. Won the 3000m Final at the MVC Championship with a time of 9:19.65 for her second MVC Indoor Track Championship of her career. Also earned All-MVC honors after finishing third in the 5000m Final with a time of 16:46.30.
Outdoor: Competed in seven meets during the 2025 outdoor season. Finished first in the 1500m event at the Redbird Challenge, running 4:27.57. Notched two top-five finishes in California, finishing fifth in the 800m at the Mike Fanelli Classic (2:10.01) and second in her 1500m heat at the Stanford Invitational (4:20.68). Placed sixth in the 1500m event at the Drake Relays (4:18.88). Ran the first leg of the program-record-setting Distance Medley Relay race at the Drake Relays (11:13.80). Set a new conference championship record in the 1500m Final at the MVC Championship, winning with a time of 4:16.84. Earned All-MVC honors in the 5000m Final, running 16:44.48 and finishing second. Qualified for the NCAA Championships in the 1500m after her successful junior season. Finished 42nd at the NCAA West First Round in College Station, Texas.
2023-24 SEASON
Cross Country: Did not compete during the 2023 season.
Indoor: Competed in fours meets in the indoor season. Finished first in the Mile at the Larry Wieczorek Invite, her first collegiate competition in nine months. Placed in the top 10 in each of her 3000m appearances during the season, running a season-best 9:39.36 at the MVC Championship, finishing ninth. Earned her first MVC Championship and All-MVC honor, running the first leg of the championship-winning and conference-record-setting Distance Medley Relay team (11:30.72).
Outdoor: Ran in five meets during the outdoor season. Finished first at the SLU Billiken Invite in the 1500m, running 4:28.96. Ran season-best 1500m and 5000m times at the Bryan Clay Invite, running 4:27.91 and 16:43.79, respectively. Qualified for the 1500m Final at the MVC Championship, where she finished eighth with a time of 4:29.07.
2022-23 SEASON
Cross Country: Ran in three meets during her rookie season. At the Illini Open, she collected a 10th place finish in the 5k event with a time of 18:40.8.
Indoor: Competed in one meet in the indoor season at the Iowa Open. In the mile, she recorded fifth place clocking in at 4:59.81.
Outdoor: In the Fighting Illini Challenge 1500m event, she finished in seventh with a time of 4:32.77. At the Bryan Clay Invitational, she finished 19th in the 5000m. Her 4x1600 relay had a third place finish at the Drake Relays.
HIGH SCHOOL
Claimed the 3,000m England Championship in 2021 and 2022. Also won the 3,000m English Schools Championship in 2021, while placing third in cross country.
PERSONAL
The daughter of Kevin and Sarah Sheppard, born February 25, 2002 in Oxford. Father participated in the 2007 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne, Australia. Three siblings – Chloe, Jessica and Sebastian. Her sister, Chloe, is on the Women's Rowing team at the University of Washington. Majoring in kinesiology and health science.
