2022-23 | JUNIOR
One of the biggest questions for Bradley in the 2022-23 offseason was how do you replace losing both PGs from a season ago, Bradley quickly found that answer in Cody "Duke" Deen. Deen was a huge factor for Bradley in the 2022-23 season starting every regular season game and MVC tournament game at the point guard spot. Deen won fans over quickly with his tough rugged play while standing just 5-8. Deen's size never seemed to bother him as he recorded 335 total points in his first season on the hilltop while also contributing 98 assists, 85 rebounds, and 31 steals. Duke was also named to the MVC All-Newcomer Team in 2022-23 and earlier in the season was named MVC Newcomer of the Week on 12/27/22 after his 40 point week where he 11-18 from the 3-point line including a game against Stonehill where he went 7-11 from the 3-point line. That output tied him for 6th all-time in single game Bradley 3-pointers by a single player.
