Western Australian Basketball League Player of the Year: 2022

2024-26 High Point | Freshman-Sophomore
During his two seasons at High Point, Ibukunoluwa appeared in 41 career games playing a total of 339 minutes, averaging 8.3 MPG, 3.0 PPG, and 2.4 RPG. He played a season-high 14 minutes at Winthrop on Jan. 14th and recorded a season-high seven points and seven rebounds versus Mary Baldwin on Dec. 16th. Ibukunoluwa was apart of the 2025-26 High Point Team who qualified to the 2026 NCAA Tournament and pulled off an upset of #4 seeded Wisconsin, High Point's first ever win against a Power-Four Conference Team. He was named Big South Freshman of the Week (Feb. 17, 2025).

High School | Hale School & Orangeville Prep
Played with the Willetton Tigers NBL 1 team (Austrailia) and averaged 10.3 points per game, 6.6 rebounds per game and 1.8 assists. He was the 2nd ranked prospect in Australia’s 2024 class. Ibukunoluwa also played for Orangeville Prep in Canada and averaged 12.0 points and 7.0 rebounds while leading Orangeville in the Nike EYBL scholastic league in rebounding. 

Personal

The son of Success and Philip Ibukunoluwa, Josh has two siblings (John and Tim). Josh's career ambitn is to one day play professional basketball of be an Orthopedic Surgeon. In his free-time Josh enjoys watching soccer. Josh ranked as a 98 ATAR (Australian Tertiary Admission Rank) which is used to a percentile ranking between 0 and 99.95, indicating a student's position relative to their Year 12 cohort in Australia. It is used primarily by universities to select students, with an ATAR of 80 indicating a student performed as well as or better than 80% of their peers. Josh will be majoring in Biology while at Bradley.
