2010-11 - "90 Days"
Hours prior to the 2010-11 season-opener, Bradley announced Brown would be forced to sit out the season for precautionary medical reasons related to on-going cardiac testing ... A requirement doctors deemed necessary after reviewing the medical records of all Bradley student-athletes, Brown underwent a 3-month de-conditioning period which prevented him from participating in any physical activity during the basketball season ... A communications (photography) major, Brown is collaborating with Bradley professor Shannon Benine on a documentary entitled "90 Days," which chronicles his season away from the court.
2009-10 - Sophomore
Benefitting from a breakout showing during Bradley's summer trip to Brazil, Brown was The Valley's fifth-leading scorer (14.1 ppg) and fifth-leading rebounder (6.9 rpg) during the regular season ... The only player to rank among the league's top five in both categories ... Ranked among the nation's leaders in improved scoring, upping his norm 10.3 ppg from 2008-09.
2008-09 - Freshman
Brown played behind All-MVC forward Theron Wilson during his freshman season ... Though fifth in rebounding at 3.0 boards per game, Brown averaged a team-best 7.9 rebounds for every 30 minutes played.
Indirect Route to Bradley
An initial qualifier out of high school, Brown opted to take the JUCO route to work on his game and enrolled at Bevill State College in Alabama ... Did not play basketball at Bevill State, however, and withdrew from the school after the fall semester to train at home with his father ... Still had four years to complete his four years of eligibility when he enrolled at Bradley in 2008.

A Uniform Tribute
Whether it is the No. 13 he wore as a freshman or the No. 3 he has worn since his sophomore season, Taylor Brown's uniform number at Bradley was selected as a tribute to his fallen brother, Justin, who died at age 3 on Sept. 13, 1996, a week after a drowning accident ... Taylor was seven years old at the time of his younger brother's death, but continues to honor Justin's memory ... Since the No. 3 had already been claimed by a teammate lin 2008-09, Taylor wore No. 13 to represent the day his brother died ... The number 3 he has worn since the start of the 2009-10 season is a tribute to his brother's age at the time of his death.
