Having recovered from the second ACL tear in a June 2011 pickup game, Egolf enjoyed his best season during his sixth year, averaging 10.0 ppg and 5.5 rpg ... After going 0-for-16 from 3-point range during his first five years, Egolf finished second on the team in 2012-13 with 37 3-pointers ... Saved his best for last, averaging 19.7 points on 69.7 percent field goal shooting and 6.3 rebounds in the 2013 CollegeInsider.com Postseason Tournament ... At Douglas H.S. Egolf was the first player from Douglas High School to earn back-to-back Alaska 4A first-team all-state honors since current Chicago Bulls star Carlos Boozer repeated in 1998 and 1999 ... Voted first-team all-state as a junior after averaging 14.5 points and 8.3 rebounds per game ... Repeated as a first-team all-state selection in 2007 by averaging 18 points and 11 rebounds, leading the Bears to a second straight appearance in the Alaska 4A state tournament.
He Has Hops After completing his prep basketball career, Egolf joined the Juneau-Douglas High School track team in 2007 and won the state high jump championship in his only year on the track team ... His leap of 6-feet, 6-inches in the regional championship set the school and regional record and was the best in the state during the 2007 season.
Alaskan Hoopsters When Egolf signed with Bradley, he became the first NCAA Division I basketball player from Juneau-Douglas H.S. since former Duke Blue Devil and current Chicago Bulls star Carlos Boozer (1999-2002).
Personal The son of Dan and JoAnna Egolf, Will was born Jan. 20. 1989 in Juneau, Alaska ... Dan Egolf was a swimmer at the University of Oregon.
