Kaitlyn Lieffers joined the Bradley Sports Medicine staff in February 2022 as an Assistant Athletic Trainer, leading the coverage for the Braves’ softball and men's golf programs.
 
Prior to her arrival at BU, Lieffers worked at Midwest Orthopaedic Center with her primary role as an athletic trainer for Pekin Community High School and Midwest Central High School. She also spent one year as an athletic trainer at Springfield Clinic, working with Pleasant Plains High School and Springfield Lutheran High School. Lieffers led rehabilitation efforts for orthopedic injuries at each of the schools that she assisted, working closely with coaches, team physicians and athletic administration.
 
A native of Belding, Michigan, Lieffers also spent two years at Western Illinois as a graduate assistant athletic trainer, working primarily with the softball and men’s and women’s swimming and diving programs, while interning at Northeastern State in 2018 with the softball and football teams.
 
Lieffers earned her bachelor’s degree in athletic training from Aquinas College in 2018, while completing her master’s in kinesiology with an emphasis in sport psychology from Western Illinois in 2020.
