High School | Dunlap HS
A four-year varsity goalkeeper who consistently improved throughout a standout high school career, Heiar logged over 6,400 career minutes in goal for the Dunlap Eagles while posting impressive goals-against averages each season. As a freshman, he played 1,145 minutes, recording 51 saves with a 0.978 GAA and increased his playing time as a sophomore with 1,703 minutes, 72 saves, and a 0.893 GAA.

Heiar would deliver yet again as a Junior playing 1,750 minutes, making 72 saves, and posting a career-best 0.549 GAA. Finished a strong senior season with 1,843 minutes, a career-high 87 saves, and a 0.825 GAA.

Personal
The son of Keith and Gretchen Heiar, Joseph has three siblings (Anna, Claire, and Andrew). Heiar also played Lacrosse as a Freshman in 2022. Additionally Heiar was a member of the National Honor Society and Best Buddies.
