AT BRADLEY (2018-21)
•  One of five newcomers for the Braves in 2018, Winkler is an international student-athlete who came to Bradley from Germany.
•  Appeared in six games for the Braves as a freshman in 2018, including a starting assignment Oct. 16 in a 3-1 win against Omaha.
•  Redshirted the 2019 season and thanks to the NCAA blanket waiver of eligibility for the 2020-21 COVID season, he entered the 2021 fall campaign still with three years of eligibility remaining.
•  One of four Braves to finish the 2021 spring season with four points on a goal and two assists, Winkler appeared in all 11 games during the spring season, including five as a starter.
•  Battling injury, Winkler appeared in nine games, four as a starter, during the 2021 fall campaign.

GERMAN SOCCER
•    Attended Privatgymnasium St. Leon-Rot and played for club programs FC Astoria Waldorf and SV Sandhausen.
•    An outside back, Winkler's FC Astoria Waldorf II squad played in his home region's top amateur league, Oberliga Baden-Württemberg, during the 2017-18 season.

PERSONAL
•  The son of Markus and Marion Winkler, Malte was born Feb. 25, 1999 in Sinsheim, Germany.
•  The younger of two siblings - Maike (27).
