2025-26 South Carolina Union | Freshman
In Manzelmann's only season at the NJCAA level via South Carolina Union, he wasted no time leaving his mark. Manzelmann was named as a 3rd-Team All-American and First Team All-Region 10 member. He collected 15 goal and assists in just 13 games during his freshman season, his 15 goals game on just 16 shots in 2025-26 resulting in an eye-opening 93.8% shot on goal percentage. With Manzelmann helping lead the charge, the Bantams finished as Region-10 runner ups during the 2025-26 season.

Personal
The son of Markus and Miriam Manzelmann, Max has one sibling (Emija). Max's ambition is to become a professional athlete but could see himself working in a management role in the media industry. Soccer isn't the only athletic feat to Max's name either, Last December he ran 560 miles across Germany in 21 days to raise money for children in need.
