Bradley University Athletic Director's Honor Roll (2): Spring '16 & Fall '15

2016 (SENIOR)
Tied the Bradley season saves record with four … Made all 17 of her appearances out of the bullpen with 12 of those coming in MVC play … Finished the year with a 2-1 record in 34.1 innings of work … Earned both of her victories in MVC play, boasting a team-best 4.75 ERA in conference action to go with a 2-1 mark and three saves … Earned the win out of the bullpen at Illinois State to help the Braves win the regular-season series from the Redbirds for the first time since 1987 … Tossed just 3.2 innings on the year before her longest outing of her Bradley career (6.1 innings) in the conference opener at Indiana State … Earned the win in the second game of the doubleheader against Evansville, pitching 5.0 innings out of the bullpen … Picked up her first save of the year three days later against SIU Edwardsville … Earned all four of her saves at home … Had 2.2 innings of shutout relief against Northern Iowa to earn her second save of the year … Picked up a pair of saves in the series against Loyola, striking out both batters she faced on 10 pitches in the final two games of the series.  

2015 (JUNIOR)
Saw the bulk of her work in the circle out of the bullpen, tying the Bradley season record for relief appearances with 18 … Made two starts … Finished the year with a 3-3 record and 4.98 ERA in 20 outings … Third on the team with 32.1 innings pitched … Had her first career start in her Bradley debut against Pacific … Started the final game of the series at Southern Illinois … Earned her first win with 2.2 innings of scoreless relief in the series opener against Loyola … Had back-to-back victories, picking up the win with 2.0 innings in the second game of the Indiana State series … Tossed 4.1 innings against Illinois-Chicago out of the bullpen to earn the win … Posted a 3-0 record with a 2.40 ERA over her last eight outings. 

PALOMAR JUNIOR COLLEGE (2014)
Earned All-Pacific Coast Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Year honors … Posted a 16-2 record with a 2.56 ERA in 27 appearances … Struck out 81 batters in 112.0 innings of work, while helping the Comets to a 33-6 record and Southern California Super Regional appearance.

BUFFALO (2013)
Made 15 starts and had 24 appearances as a true freshman.

HIGH SCHOOL
North County Scholar-Athlete all four prep seasons …  Helped her squad to a second-place state finish.

PERSONAL
The daughter of Kristi and John Cowan, Dani was born in Murrieta, Calif … Has two older siblings: Shelby and Nicole … Majored in political science … Her father John played in the NHL … She played for the Canadian Junior National Team during the summer of 2011.
